Friday night (10/24) was our Ward Halloween Party.  Lee and I decided to dress up at the last minute.  I pulled out my trusty Brownie Costume and Lee went digging for clothes to pull off a matching Boy Scout uniform.  Turns out he found his actual scouting shirt from 15 years ago.  And of course, it STILL fit!

It's been a long time since I've seen kids all dressed up for Halloween.  So that was a highlight from the Halloween festivities.  Especially seeing the five darling nuggets from our nursery class all dressed up.  I'm sorry we didn't get pictures of them all.

Lee and I made sugar cookies this weekend and brought them in for the kids to frost during nursery.  That was a bold and daring move after the pudding finger painting from the week before.  Benjamin left that Sunday with pudding EVERYWHERE.  We were better prepared this time and brought dish towels that were as long as the kids were tall and tied them around their necks.  They worked remarkably well and the kids had a great time.    A couple of them got into it more than the others. And Elyette wanted to eat hers instead of frost them...  It was pretty fun.  We really are having a great time in the nursery and we love the kids! We're glad we get to stay with them when they turn into sunbeams in January.
