A little over a year ago, Lee and I were in my favorite little town of Pescadero and stopped in a store (Made in Pescadero) where most everything is truly made in Pescadero.  We fell in love with a GORGEOUS bed frame and have been thinking about it ever since.  A couple of months ago, when I couldn't handle our trampoline mattress or our hodgepodge of bedroom furniture (two very different IKEA nightstands, my dresser from my 11th Christmas and Lee's Stanford Standard Issue dresser) we decided to go out to Pescadero and do a little shopping.

Once there, we learned the store is also a distributor for Simply Amish - furniture hand crafted in the Mid-West at affordable prices.  Two weeks later, we purchased a new mattress, and ordered a bed frame, nightstands and dresser.  There is still much more we would like to purchase -- but we'll have to do it in stages.  But everything we ordered this first time around arrived today! SIX WEEKS EARLY!!!!  We're in love with it all and now REALLY want to save up for the rest... The craftsmanship is unbelievable and it's all so beautiful.  It's completely changed our room.

We still need to put the hardware (handles or knobs)  on the drawers... but you'll get the idea.
