Lee absolutely spoiled me rotten on my birthday last week!  He says he was just picking up the slack from the last few notable dates.  But, I think he's just awfully good to me and incredibly sweet and generous.  I don't think any one person has done so many kind and generous things for me on one particular day.  I'm one lucky (and spoiled) girl!

My birthday started with gorgeous flowers being brought into our room and a breakfast offer with a card that hinted of 7 different surprises throughout the day.  Each of which would reflect something Lee loves about me.  It certainly made for a very fun day!  I won't list them all.... it would just really prove how spoiled I am.  But, he did pick me up at lunch with a picnic from JJ's in tow.  We started this little tradition last year on my birthday when we did the same thing and ate at Gamble Gardens.  I love it....  I got cards/gifts 3 and 4 at lunch.  The fourth being an invitation to dinner at Oliveto that night.  The night Lee proposed, we ate at Oliveto.  It was one of the best meals I've had in the last few years and I've been wanting to go back ever since.  And as expected, it was amazing yet again!  The menu changes every day and it's really quite good. My main course of sand dabs layered with roasted pepers and potatoes and aioli was amazing. It just melted in my mouth.  Oh - so good! At dinner I got 4b (gift 5 was awaiting me when I got home from work that day).  This one was an invitation to enjoy dessert on the Alameda Waterfront.  That was a fun one. Somehow Lee had managed to make me the Mint Dessert on Wednesday without me eveing knowing. He even made a portable sized one that he put on dry ice while we were at dinner!  I never expected I'd get the mint that day!  He really is the best.  We didn't stay on the water front long - it was cold even without the ice cream.  :)  But it was perfect and such a fun surprise....  I had the best birthday.  And he was so cute as to make sure it truly was a great day.  I think I married the greatest man there is! Thank you cute boy for everything!!!
