We have been homeowners for nearly 11 months and just started working on the master bedroom and bathroom.  We outsourced what we're referring to as the "bare bones" of the master and are so glad that we did.  The plumbing has been a major job!  While the contractors have been demo-ing the old bathroom, moving walls, running electrical, moving plumbing lines, drains and vents -- we've been working in the bedroom and closet.

The design we came up with for the bathroom gives us a walk-in closet and we get to say goodbye to the step-down shower.   We still have a great deal to do in the bathroom - but the contractors' work is almost over and we like what we're seeing.  As for the master closet, it's been primed and painted.  As have the pocket doors for both the bathroom and closet.  We've also textured, primed and painted the master ceiling and primed and painted the master walls.   Lee also installed canned LED lights in both the master and closet.  They still need to be wired, but we're close to having overhead lights!  After serving as our workroom for the last year - it's finally looking like a place we could sleep in in just a month or two!
