After 8 years of being the perfect table for me (and us), it was time for me to pass my little table and chairs along to someone else.  I have lots of memories associated with the little table and was pretty fond of it.  I'm  sure that if we had more room or a reason to keep it, I would have. But, instead it made it's way into the hands of new owners after a very unusual Craig's List transaction. (Who comes to pick up a table asking the seller to deliver it, a full car and not enough cash to pay for the item anyway?)

We've been working pretty hard the last couple of weekends to be ready for the delivery of a big-kid dining room table and chairs.  They came yesterday and we're super excited about it.   It's a whole new world knowing we can comfortably host more than four people AND have a table wide enough for game playing.  It's also pretty darn great that even though there is still much to be done, the condition of our house is conducive to having a full-fledged table! We love it.
