Our trip to St. John was our first experience with VRBO and it was a tremendous success! When we discovered we could rent a house with all sorts of fabulous amenities for less than staying in a hotel, we jumped at it.  We stayed just outside of Coral Bay, about a 20 minute drive from the hub (Cruz Bay) of St. John.  The house we rented was on a hillside and had a fantastic deck with incredible views of Coral Bay.  We couldn't believe how lucky we were that every meal we had at that house had such gorgeous scenery.

The house was equipped with everything we needed and more:  washer/dryer, kitchen, two bedrooms, TV, wifi, movies, couch, swimming pool, two bathrooms and an outdoor shower.  We really enjoyed being able to eat breakfast at home, have everything we needed on hand to pack lunches and the option to cook for dinner.  With as expensive as the dining is on a remote island, being able to grill on the deck and cook at the house was pretty great.  The pool was perfect for our needs and the outdoor shower was dreamy.  Of course it helps that the temperature never dropped below 75 degrees and showering under the stars wasn't as uncomfortable as it would be in most parts of the world.    Plus, since we traveled during the "off-season" and encountered a rain day, we were really glad we had a house we could chill out in and watch a movie or two.

We loved staying at La Bella Villa and hope we get to stay there again in the future.
