The Go Kart Racer Crew One of our only weekends in town this last month (May) was Lee’s birthday weekend. I think it ended up being a pretty fun one!    We had a delicious birthday breakfast, Lee opened his presents (we get to test out the new tent this upcoming weekend), we spent the afternoon at the temple and had dinner in Palo Alto.   But the highlight was our evening at Go Kart Racer in Burlingame.  I had recruited friends and family to spend the evening at the track racing Go Karts.

Boy Racers

We had such a great time.  There were enough of us (14) that we had the Monza track to ourselves for over an hour.  The boys raced each other and the girls did the same.  It was so fun that everyone wants to go back and do it again.

The Lady Racers After we raced we ate a Cookies and Cream variation of the Mint Dessert and chatted before everyone returned to their families.   I’m so glad we were able to get out and do something new and fun for Lee’s birthday and are grateful to all those who joined us!   Happy Birthday to my cute boy!
