It has been a few weeks since Lee and I had a weekend here in Menlo Park and we enjoyed it thoroughly!  We kicked it off with heading up to the city to see The Cove and then out for a late dinner in North Beach.  The Cove is a film distributed by Participant Media about dolphin killing in Japan.  It is VERY well done, incredibly moving and at times quite sad.  Definitely worth seeing.

We loved being relatively lazy on Saturday.  We are perfecting Ebelskivers and found our favorite new fillings this weekend.  We also tried our hand at nectarine sorbet (we got a flat of locally grown nectarines for just $20 and they are AMAZING) before going out to run the dish not once, but twice in the crazy heat!  Hood to Coast is nearly upon us and we figured we had to start cranking up the training a bit.  The run nearly did us in.

We got to see some of my very fabulous co-workers from my time at EY on Saturday night.  Some of whom I hadn't seen in years.  It was really fun for Lee to get to meet some of them and get to know others better. I really did luck out with working with some of my favorite people ever when I started out. I love that as infrequently as we all see each other, we'll be friends forever.

Sunday we enjoyed a delicious meal with the Browns and got to catch up with many other friends at Kimberly's b-day ice cream extravaganza.  All in all a fabulous weekend!
