Last weekend (11/11) Lani and Kyle came up for a visit.  The occasion was the Oregon vs Stanford football game.   And although Stanford played a pretty abysmal game, we had a great time together.  Lani and Kyle (somewhat pro-Oregon fans) were impressively neutral at the game and even cheered for the home team on the occasions that called for cheering.  What kind guests.  :)  Other than the game we laid pretty low all weekend.  We were super ambitious (for not having a kitchen sink) and made a breakfast feast on Saturday morning with Joy and Collin.  We relaxed on the couch, played a few games and made absolutely zero progress on the kitchen. We certainly love being with family and have loved having Lani and Kyle down south.  We'll be sad to see them go at the end of next month.   But we're so glad we got in one last visit with them before they hit the road.

P.S.  One of my favorite things about our awesome season ticket seats at Stanford Stadium is that we are directly over the band (second row) and get to watch the Tree all game long. I love this year's tree.  He's super creative.  On Yom Kippur he wore a prayer shawl and a yamika.  This last week, he was decked out for duck hunting season.  I wonder what he'll be dressed like for Cal......
