Before tackling the monumental project of the kitchen, we've been trying to lead "normal people" lives while tying up some loose ends around the house.  As made evident by previous posts, I've been focused on the yard.  Lee, on the other hand, has been focused on the entryway.  After months (like eight or more) of having trim mostly cut and sitting in the hallway - it is finally installed!  The entryway hardwood is finally finished, the baseboard trim is all installed, caulked and painted and the sweep on the door has been replaced.  (As of last summer we had painted the doors, door jams, beadboard, scraped the ceilings, painted the ceilings, installed new light fixtures, tore up the old floor and installed the new- we've just been taking our dear sweet time to finish it off!)  I have to say, it feels pretty darn good to have a to-do list that is shorter than it's ever been!

Check out what our hallway FINALLY looks like now! For what it used to look like - go HERE.
