For the first time since we got married, Lee and I spent Christmas day in La Grande.   We drove to La Grande on the 21st, and a few hours later Abbie and Patrick rolled in.   With Lani and Kyle living up the street, we were all home for nearly full five days!  We rested, we ate, we Quirkled, we walked in the snow, we made babka, visited with old friends, met Nigel and enjoyed time with family.  And as always, we had to leave all too quickly.

From La Grande we headed over to Bruneau to spend a night with two of the cutest little boys around and Rochelle.  During our brief stay in Bruneau we also had the privilege of having lunch with both sets of Lee's grandparents.  We then headed over to Twin Falls where we stayed three nights at Bryce and Elaine's and got to spend time with everyone else! Rochelle came too and her darling boys.  In Twin we had a couple of pretty lazy days.  We chased kids around, chatted, played in the snow and saw family.  It was a perfect finish to our trip home.  Pictures are out in the gallery.  And if you are interested in cute little Max cracking me up, Rochelle posted the video I took of him on her blog.
