One of my most favorite people in all the world got married on Friday, November 29 in San Francisco.   And It was a wedding I did not want to miss.  For months I was so worried about weather and travel and afraid that our Thanksgiving flight from Oregon would be late and we would miss the wedding.  But fortunately for us, everything went smoother than we could have even hoped and we were in the city, showered, dressed and at the wedding venue early!

The wedding took place at Marines' Memorial Hotel off of Union Square shortly after 5pm.  The ceremony was beautiful, humorous and wonderful.  Erika was one of the most gorgeous brides I have ever seen.  Her dress was incredible.   Friends and family came from all over to celebrate this memorable event.  For me, seeing old friends who have left the Bay Area over the years was a highlight of the wedding.  It was so good to see everyone.

That night we enjoyed a delicious dinner, conversation with old friends and even a little dancing.  We had a great time and are so thrilled for Nick and Erika.  What a perfect fit they are!

After the wedding, a few of us loaded up in Adrian's rental suburban and headed over to Ghiradelli for a late night treat and then back to Union Square for a few Christmas pictures before we split up.  It was so good to all be reunited again and I so wished people didn't have to go back.  I've since decided we need to plan a reunion for sometime in 2014 where we can all be together for longer....

We're so glad we were able to be part of Nick and Erika's happy day!  We love them and are so glad they found each other!
