View from our hotel room This last Saturday we celebrated our 6th anniversary.  While we wished we could have been back in St. John in the USVI, we still had a really great weekend.  We had an early dinner at Garabaldi's in San Francisco and then stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel off of Union Square.  We were both pretty beat after our week, so being able to be lazy and not have to drive back home was a treat.   And when we were craving dessert later that night, we were glad Cheesecake  Factory was just a stone's throw away.  Breakfast at Dottie's

Saturday we took it super slow and easy.  It's nearly impossible for us to sleep in when we're home, since there is always a long list of to-do's that kicks us out of bed.  So we really enjoyed the slow start.  We then wandered over to Dottie's for a heavenly breakfast for lunch (it was nearly 1pm by the time we actually got in the door).  I'm still salivating over my sweet potato and chocolate chip french toast.  Ah-maz-ing!

Baker Beach We then left the sunny side of San Francisco to spend a little time at Baker Beach before visiting the Cliff House where we had dinner reservations.  We weren't all that hungry (breakfast was so filling), but we still found room to eat some more.  I had told them it was our anniversary when we made the reservation, hoping that would by us a table by the window.    And it worked!  Dessert at Cliffhouse We enjoyed our meal and the view.  The waiter even brought us a complimentary dessert with a candle and wished us happy anniversary.  Such a fun surprise!

After dinner we returned home.   It was a perfect little break and a great 24 hours.  Every day I consider myself the luckiest girl on the planet to have the privilege to be married to my Lee forever and for the last six years we've had together.
