Aunt Katie getting to know baby Gus On Saturday, November 7, Gus Lee Thomas Pfaffenbach joined the Kalemba family.   Due to some unexpected circumstances, Lee and I were BOTH able to meet cute little Gus the weekend before Thanksgiving.   Our visit was short, just three nights and two days.  The Pfaffenbachs were in town for Thanksgiving and we (us and my parents) were headed to Montana that Thanksgiving Monday to be with Abbie and company for the holiday.  Big Bro loving Baby Bro The Pfaffenbachs were incredibly generous with sharing the boys with me since we weren't there for long.  Gus has a chubby little face (lots of chins), dark hair and blue eyes.    He's a cutie and definitely resembles his brother.  Jack, is the sweetest big bro I've ever seen.  He loves to kiss baby bro, tell him hi and hold him every so often.

Jack's First Day on Skis During our weekend in LG, we got out to the park a couple of times with Jackers and witnessed his impressive first ski performance.  That kid is an amazing athlete.  We also got lots of cuddles with Gus who is much, much happier in someone's arms.    I'm so glad we got to meet Gus and see Jack that weekend; it had been a very long stretch since we had seen them last.   As always, the weekend flew by and on Monday morning we headed north to Montana.  Pictures of Jack and Gus are here.
