This weekend was a pretty great weekend here at home.  We kicked it off with date night on Friday night and then got a couple of roommates for the weekend.  Joy and Collin were down in Palo Alto for a friend's birthday party and rather than drive home that night - decided to slumber at our house.  We enjoyed a trot through the neighborhood on Saturday morning and then introduced them to Ebelskevers.  We LOVE those things.  Filled, round pancakes that are super tasty.  Our favorite fillings have been raspberries, blackberries and mini peanut butter cups.  But Collin and Joy expanded our creativity and we tried out Starbursts and cheese.  Next time we'll have to add some ham in there too.  When it came time for us to keep an appointment that afternoon - we weren't ready to have them leave.  So, we successfully talked them into running their errands down here and then bribed them with dinner if they stuck around.   Lee grilled up some pretty amazing fillet and we dined well that evening!  We got in a game of doms and successfully talked them into spending yet another night at our house.  We sure did love having them as roommates this weekend!
